ASLA IS PLEASED TO OFFER SATURDAY WORKSHOPS TO REINFORCE YOUR LEARNING
FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED LEVEL 1 OR HIGHER:
ASL in the classroom - How To Teach Children (although this is geared toward teaching children, the same learning principles apply to any age)
Students will learn how to analyze sign production to account for cognitive abilities and gross and fine motor skills.

FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED LEVEL 2 OR HIGHER:
Time Travel - students have learned time and travel concepts. Now they will deepen their knowledge of these as they see how to apply them more fully, and develop beginning conversational skills.

Who’s on First? Understanding how to use facial expression as a part of grammar. An explanation of Topic/Comment and Topicalization that will clarify these ideas and give you confidence using them.
